The first RORC race of the season, this race, approx 140nm starts from the Royal Yacht Squadron Line and finishes in Le Havre, France. LSS are looking forward to starting a busy racing season with this one!

  • Previous experience required:

    • Previous offshore sailing experience required unless this is your first offshore race in the Fastnet Campaign

    • Experience of spinnakers/gennakers is handy

    • The race time depends on the weather forecast heavily but in our experience, with the early morning start, usually just over 24 hours to the Eddystone lighthouse if the wind is a usual Westerly, and faster on the way back downwind.
